Claimed: Trek Mi Q'an Book 13

UPDATE: this situation has been remedied!
I've got good news and I've got bad news. The good news is CLAIMED comes out on October 13th; the bad news is it's a coin toss as to whether or not it'll be available at Amazon. Amazon is having technical issues that are affecting quite a large backlog of new books. This is happening not just to me and CLAIMED, but to many authors and their titles.

In a nutshell, many authors are finding their new titles stuck in "Pre-Order Publishing" status; I am one of those authors. I have remained in contact with Amazon and the only thing I keep being told is that many new titles have been affected and that they will email me when the glitch is fixed. (Mind you, at this point I can't even count how many days I've been waiting on a resolution.)

Please visit CLAIMED's page on my website for alternative methods of purchasing it. (One option is to buy the PDF from Smashwords and upload it to your Kindle.) I apologize for any inconvenience. You can contact Amazon by clicking here.

RELIC - now available!

Renumbering The Trek Serial

Apparently my numbering system for the Trek serial is aggravating to y'all so I'm republishing it with straight forward numbering (1, 2, 3, etc.) As an example, Dementia used to be book 5.5 and is now book 7; Devilish Dot used to be book 6.5 and is now book 9.

For those of you who bought the serial on Kindle, switching out the covers to reflect the appropriate numbering is pretty simple. You just go to your Kindle book library, see which ones have updates, and click that you want the updated versions. For those of you who have earlier versions of the serial, don't worry about it. The reading sequence itself hasn't changed, only the numbering has.

Tina/Jaid

P.S. The reading sequence is as it's always been:

·      The Empress’ New Clothes: Book 1
·      No Mercy: Book 2
·      Enslaved: Book 3
·      No Escape: Book 4
·      “Naughty Nancy” in Strictly Taboo: Book 5
·      No Fear: Book 6
·      Dementia: Book 7
·      Seized: Book 8
·      Devilish Dot: Book 9
·      Never A Slave: Book 10
·      No Way Out: Kari – Book 11
·      No Way Out: Dari – Book 12
·      Claimed: Book 13
·      No Way Out: Jana – Book 14

Disclaimer for No Way Out: Dari

While I write most Trek Mi Q'an installments in such a way that they can stand alone, No Way Out: Dari is a definite exception. Not only do I encourage new readers to read its 11 predecessors, but I also encourage longtime readers to re-read the books leading up to this one. The plot is very intricate, which will guarantee several "aha!" moments if you're well versed in Trek, but which may seem like ordinary moments if you're not. Additionally, several old characters come back into play in this 12th installment so if you don't remember who everyone is it might get a bit confusing.

I don't want to scare anyone off (!!) but I do want to keep it real with y'all. This title (9th book, 12th installment) answers questions some of my readers have had for 2 decades, while still setting the scene for the 13th installment, No Way Out: Jana. In other words, there's a lot going on. I do hope you enjoy it! Tina/Jaid xx

No Way Out: Dari - Book 9, Installment 12

Coming March 3, 2020

It took me three YEARS to write this installment! Not only because of my disabilities, though they were definitely contributing factors, but also because of the sheer intricacies of the plot this story demanded. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it :-) Tina/Jaid xx

This next exciting installment in the Trek Mi Q'an universe tells the story of Princess Dari Q'ana Tal and High Lord Gio Z’an Tar. Picking up where its predecessor (No Way Out: Kari) left off, fans of the franchise are rewarded for their patience with a new entry in the ongoing serial that gives long awaited answers to several questions.

THIS BOOK IS PART OF A SERIAL AND NOT MEANT TO STAND ALONE.

Dari Q'ana Tal has been promised to Gio Z'an Tar all of her life. Resentful at first, she comes to care for her betrothed as the years go by. As Dari soon discovers, not all is what it seems at Gio's home on Arak. An evil has shown itself, forcing Dari to flee from the planet... as well as from her future mate.

Trek Mi Q'an question

I'm trying to figure out what y'all find more helpful: italicization every time you encounter an alien word, no italicization, or a hybrid of the two wherein italics are not used for certain established words centered around time and space. Please pick which of the excerpts below is easiest for you to follow! My thanks in advance :-) Tina/Jaid

A) After the washing was done, Dari moved to a vesha-bench near to her bathing hole. Two Kefa slaves rubbed exotic oils onto her skin whilst another two brushed out her long hair and braided it. The slaves braided with a quickness that humanoid females simply could not, making short work of what would otherwise have been a daunting, Nuba-hours long task.
